SA Ex Instruments was founded in 2004. Back then the founder, Adrien De Becker started trading as a 'dedicated specialist supplier' of explosion proof instrumentation. 

Towards the end of 2005 the company moved into the related field of gas detection to meet a need in the marketplace. This move emphasized the company's focus on personal and plant safety. After 5 years of significant growth, SA Ex now also have a network of authorised distributors across South Africa and the rest of the African continent.

All our equipment comes with international approvals, as well as local IA certificates. We do not take short cuts. We only sell certified equipment that is safe to use in your hazardous area.
